Coping With COVID-19 as a Community
Our Response as ReachAcross Brisbane
Since the beginning of this year, there have been a lot of unknowns; from when we would recommence work, to how we would navigate the changes in society, as well as the uncertainty in the multicultural community. All of these have been the aftereffects of COVID-19.
Contemplating a post-COVID-19 reality has been one of the things we have been considering here at ReachAcross Brisbane; and specifically, how this might impact what we do, both locally and globally with our upcoming India Project.
From the start of this global pandemic, we have managed to pivot our work almost entirely from a remote working standpoint; from staff and volunteers participating in online workshops and trainings at home; to partnering with organisations overseas to engage with Muslims during the Ramadamn season; to our current work project compiling and expanding our online response project, Solve Squad.
Through all of these changes, we have been learning and moving forward, both as an organisation and as a team, and we hope to be able to have the opportunity to tell you more about the mission and its trajectory as we continue to journey with you.
Please stay tuned!
I look forward to connecting with you soon!
