For most of us, creativity probably doesn’t come naturally; especially for those of us who would probably be self-described as “normal”. The fact of the matter is, each of us created differently, and each of us is unique.
In my earliest recollections of my younger days, I loved to read, but eventually realised this could be translated into the skill of creative writing through the written word. I discovered that writing, essentially, is a creative outward expression of an internal idea, and I began to express this more effectively, eventually to the point where this became more than a pastime, but a talent which led to my first role and a sincere passion to express my highest ideals.
As someone who would not readily admit to being a ‘creative’, I found myself expressing myself creatively in an increasing measure, and this actually helped to connect with others in my role with ReachAcross today.
There may be a creative outlet for you in your work, your hobbies, or even a hidden talent you yearn to expres, which is the very chosen expression that your Creator wishes for you to step into.
As Scripture tell us,
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” - Psalm 139:14
Creativity is a wonderful expression of God-given talent, so why not show it in your life today?
